Although the climate is ideal during winters in Goa, the costs for hotel stays, food and travel triples during this season. I'd suggest you make your bookings well in advance and enjoy you winter trip to Goa. Its amazing there, esp on New Year's eve.
Happy Travels...
Hey,
There are a great deal of places you can visit near Manali.
One cluster you can visit is Kasol, Manikaran, Tosh, Pulga, Kalga and few hikes around.
Another you can do is go towards upper Manali to Solang Valley where you can go skiing and other adventure activities. From there you can also go to Keylong.
Hope this helps.
If you are a buget traveller
-try staying with the locals or in hostels on arrival, instead of prebooking a hotel.
-get a room as close to the beach as possible so you dont need to rent a bike
-do not eat food from the shacks on the beach, buy or order it before getting to the beach.
-carry a medical kit ALWAYS. It is difficult to find a doctor or clinic around the beach areas.
-North Goa is for Partying with frnz and strangers.... South Goa is quiet and relaxing for family trips.
-try to explore hidden beaches if you are in adventure mood, like butterfly beach, cola beach, sunset beach, benaulim beach etc.

You can get a shared taxi or sumo from Shillong to Sohra. If you want to visit the waterfalls near Sohra, you have to trek for most of the waterfalls. For your itinerary I would suggest:
Day 1 - Shillong sightseeing (Police bazaar, Laitlum Grand Canyon 23kms from Police Bazaar, Elephant falls) Day 2 - Sohra (For trekking visit Wei Sawdong, Lai Pateng falls, Nohkalikai falls) On the way to Wei Sawdong falls, you'll get Dainthlen falls also. Day 3 - Sohra to Dawki, but ai would suggest you to visit Shnongpdeng village which will give you solitude and also the feel of Dawki area. Experience Riverside camping, cliff jumping, boating etc etc at a cheaper rate than Dawki. Note - *** Sohra is very beautiful places with hidden falls, explore it thoroughly if you wish. And The journey from Sohra to Dawki via Pomshuti a/Pynursla is a mesmerizing experience. Good luck, Safe Journey and be always happy 😊

I think if she Able to track and walk you can make sure she is fine and good hearth before reach kedaranath , and I thought don't let her to long journey and cold places it's not good for health regarding her age thanks
Yes age isn't an issue. but if you go through certified trekkers like Indiahikes, there are a few body tests that a person has to pass to be able to go for a Trek. so if she clears that then it's good to go!
Hi there, how is the weather there? is it good enough to go on a hike/explore places around?
Also, how are the stay arrangements?
Looking for a nice place which is close to mountains, fresh air, delicious vegetarian food and lovely people.
Do revert back with the details. Thanks.
