The winters in Sikkim are freezing temperatures in the region reach between 4 ° C and 7 ° C Although travel can prevent in the event of a natural disaster, like heavy snowfall or road blockage especially in the northern region.
Hi Suraj,
It depends on the place you go in Sikkim. In winters (Nov-feb) pretty much everywhere. But in Oct you can find snow up in the hill like Nathu la , lake tsomgo etc. Still there is a high probability to get snow at Gurudongmar,Nathula Pass,Yumeshdong and Katao Hill
Go to kashmiri Gate and take your bus or take a train from New Delhi railway station ,I will recommend jan satabadi express from platform 11 at 3:20 pm
Hi Priyansh,
In one word absolutely. I did this trek few years ago. You can also directly take a jeep to the top but the trek is better. The path is good and moderately difficult. Each day you can camp in homestays instead of tents which makes it an even better experience.
Hey,
Given that you have a week, I suggest you go to Parvathi valley. Here you can visit Kasol, Manikarn Gurudwara, Tosh, Kalga, Pulga, Kheerganga. There many small hikes here and the landscape is beautiful.
Hope this helps
Hello, It depends on which trip you select. Usually staycations will be offered from Tripoto travel partners. Better is you start writing and earn credits for every blog you publish. And wait for the right travel offer they provide.
Hi Shivaraj,
Here is a little bit that might help you understand how credits work.
How to redeem Credits?
When you choose a certain product (packages, hotel stays, online experiences, etc), you will see the option of availing Credits in the lead form. The page will tell you what is the maximum number of Credits you can use while making a booking. If you have accumulated enough Credits, you will have the option of using Credits as one of the payment methods. For more information, check out Tripoto’s guide to Credits: https://www.tripoto.com/collections/travel-for-free-with-tripoto

Hi Aditya,
I could not find any information on homestay in Rishikesh but here are some budget hotels you can take a look at.
Despite the fact that budget travellers are restricted by finances, they are free to experience the city like a local. From eating at local restaurants and staying at family-run homestays – budget travellers experience the best of Rishikesh tourism. If you are a budget traveller planning a trip to Rishikesh, here are a few budget hotels:
Rudram Hotel and Retreat
Swiss Cottage and Spa by Salvus
60’s Green Hills
Divine Ganga Cottage
Rishikesh Valley
Hope this helps.
Hi Aditya Apart from homestay, you could also check Vanprastha Ashram. Very clean and organised. Had stayed for a week for Rs 400 per night in a private double bedded room where there is a kitchen, a fridge and a geyser. The ashram is located at Janki Jhula. Thanks!
During the new year season goa will be crowded like hell ,and the cost of everything will be hiked however you will definately enjoy being in the darkness at the beaches.
Hi Ankit,
I was in South Goa last year for new year. From the pictures I saw of North Goa, South Goa had a very less percentage of tourists. The celebration and parties are not as bug as North either. There are some beach stays, AirBnB and homestays where you can maintain social distancing. Take a look at those.
Yes the last puja will take place on 6th Nov (Govardhan Puja) after that the temple will be closed for 6 months n the idol (kedar baba) will be shifted to ukhimath
