You can hire a taxi or may hire a bike also. All transportation are in very reasonable price. You may visit few view points, & nearby areas such as tea garden, Bhimtal, Sattal, Nakuchiyatal etc.

Take winter clothes with you and rainy clothes as well
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
If you have never visited a cold place yet do consider purchasing thermals with winter clothing
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
You can go to palolim beach. it's amazing . the food and stay is also very affordable
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
If you want a relaxed trip then any beach in south is good. If you want a happening trip with partying and clubbing then north goa, around Calangute, baga, Anjuna.

Hi Jyoti The e-pass seems booked fully for the allotted duration allowed by court. I dont think an e-pass can be obtained now from site. However if you can connect some operators in Rishikesh. they may help, not sure about it. Also keep an eye on the latest update as Uttarakhand Govt filing an interim plea in Uttarakhand High Court, seeking increase in daily number of pilgrims. If this is granted instantly can book your e-pass on site. Though I am also keeping an eye on it and will update once I get the news. Thank You See You on the Road...👌👌 Thank You

It depends of which type of places do you visit? Like religious or other tourist spot

If you like to shop then the local bazaars won't disappoint. There are 2-3 near Hawa Mahal, and cafes opposite it, where one can enjoy the night view of that beauty. There's also a place called masala chouk, a food complex (check if it's open).

Yeah, it will be open. Now travelling to Kashmir is more safer and secure than earlier. For further comple details of location and other needful you may visit Kashmir tourism official website. Happy travelling.

Hi Gurpreet, Kashmir is open to tourists now. December to February is the best time to visit Kashmir in winter. While maximum temperature occasionally touches 10 degrees Celsius the minimum temperature comes down to -8 degrees Celsius. The weather in Kashmir during winters is pleasant and surroundings become duskier and the bone-chilling cold can make you numb. Pack warm clothes. Happy traveling.

By car
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Aditya, With six border crossings with India, road travel is an economical and scenic way to reach Nepal. For those coming from Delhi or Varanasi, the most convenient crossing point is Sunauli, near Bhairahawa. There are daily direct air-conditioned buses from both cities available, as well as private cars for hire. Here are some articles where people went by road - https://www.tripoto.com/mumbai/trips/solo-trip-to-nepal-5c8a84dacfc49 https://www.tripoto.com/asia/trips/a-short-trip-to-nepal-from-kanpur-5b532d42dc23f Hope this helps.

Did you get the e-pass for these dates??
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Rohit, The e-pass for October is almost full. You can get the pass on spot if someone who has booked online does not show up. I also read some reports that its a lot of chaos this year because it is open only for a month. Do see if you can find some local tours and travels help if you really want to go this year. Hope this helps.
