How good is to go for road trip from Bangalore to Siliguri..advice

Hi, Road Trips are always a great experience. Have done the east costal route on bike few time back. If you are taking the coastal route via Visakhapatnam - Chilika-cuttack- Balasore- Kharagpur- Kolkata-Bardhaman - Faraka-Islampur-Siliguri. You will enjoy the route, however not sure if the constructions are completed or not between Balasore to Khargpur. Construction was in full swing when I was riding from Sikkim to Vizag. You can enjoy place like Gopalpur Beach, Chilika Lake, Dhauli, by taking little diversion can visit Puri & Konark on this route. Also can drop in Digha as well as Shantiniketan if taking some small diversion from main route. Chandipur is another calm and composed beach in Bay of Bengal you can visit if passing Balasore during day time which is around 25KM from your highway. Else you may take route via Nagpur Lucknow Garakhpur this route will provide you pure city and highway experience. You are asking advise regarding what? Should you take this road trip or not in regards to covid guidelines? If that's the question, WB Govt allowing tourist with negative RTPCR so no worries and Siliguri is a beautiful city and gateway to North East Himalayan range, from where you can also visit Darjleeng Sikkim and many other north eastern destination. Must go through the Mahananda National Park near Sevak you probably like the scenic route there, if you visiting Siliguri. So you should visit and enjoy your road trip. Hi, according to my knowledge Cinque Island is open for travellers. You need to seek permission from the Forest Department and hire a boat from Port Blair to reach there.

The Somnath temple believed to be the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines. Visited this place twice once during my 12 Jyotirlinga Bike Ride and again recently and both the time I stayed in a Dharamshala which was less costly, decided to stay at this place because of budget as well as near by temple and it was nicely maintained too. Before deciding have explored few hotels as well, one of them I can suggest is Shivdhara. Can opt it, that time they were charging Rs 700/- per night stay for Non AC rooms. You can also check out https://somnath.org/ site for their own managed guest houses (Sagar Darshan Sea Facing rooms) which offers rooms below 1000/- also they offers dormitory stay too, may cost Rs 100/- per bed. Caution: They have adopted a new rule, on which people needs to register themselves for Darshan and opt a Darshan pass. Hi this question holds some temptation to answer, as recently completed a research paper on "Potential of Adventure Tourism in Greater Himalayn Range". However its depends on kind of adventure you are looking for? India is home to a wide basket of adventure activities for travelers loves adventure trips. No doubt North Eastern states top the league when its comes to mountaineering and snow adventure for professionals. For travelers like us probably Uttarakhand, Himachal, Ladakh region still holds many adventure to experience, specially for trekkers, mountains lovers and snow explorers. These northern states like both HImachal & Uttarakhand also offers many other adventure spots to attract travelers, for eg: Skiing, Paragliding, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, River Rafting etc. Similarly water adventure like Scuba Diving, Flyboarding etc you may look for Lakshadweep, Andaman or Goa as preferred choice. If you love wild life experience may opt jungle safari at various national parks. Mountain Biking and cycling which I love the most and my preferred choice are North Eastern Trans-Himalayan terrains, however Uttarakhand, Himachal Ladakh region also having huge to offers for Road Trippers :) Rajasthan anther state which is unique in offering Desert Adventure as well as Camel Safari. Hi Rishi, According to my research Kheerganga appears to be open. However since the guidelines in India change so often, I suggest you check the official websites before you travel to ensure that Kheerganga is still open. There is no direct bus service from Delhi to Munsiyari, however you can opt direct bus service from Delhi to Almora and change there to Munsiyari. Uttarakhand Transport operate ordinary bus services from Anand Vihar terminal to Almora. From Almora you can take share cabs or other public transport to Munsiyari either via Pithoragarh or via Bageswar Kapkote . The other option are, you may take a train from Delhi to Kathgodam and from there can check for share taxi which are operating between Pithoragarh/Bageswar--Haldwani Note- Its a long journey on mountain range so make sure you break the journey in to at least 2 days, taking 1 night rest at Almora or near by Hope the information will help in your travel planning. you can travel to statue easily recently gujrat govt. launched a train called KEVADIYA JAN SHATABDI (09247)(everyday) from that u can reach ahmedabad to kevadaiya where you can reach statue of unity within 7km from kevadiya railway station and multiple ways ( taxi, autowala) to reach spot.
