Summer months of March, April and May are beautiful. pleasant weather, great for photography and relaxing. if you want to experience snow, suggest you visit in the months of January and February. October and November months are equally beautiful, not too cold then.

Yes they are, you can actually opt in for ordinary one as well as AC buses could be good option.
I traveled with ordinary one though.

Ordinary HRTC buses to McLeodganj are safe for the most parts but won't be comfortable after they cross Una and the hilly terrain starts.
i would recommend going for a pvt bus and travelling during the day as then your sleep won't be hampered and you will enjoy the stay.
UpvoteCommentTowards manali and up. there might be chance towards Chamba side too. if you just want to see snow laden mountain and enjoy the stay I'd say for Dharamshala or McLeodganj.

Man ki shanti .... agar shanti chahiye to moh wali shanti ko chor ke .. pahado me jao .. thoda waqt bitao apne akelepan k sath ... apne aap ko jaano ... nature therapy lo kuch din akele bitao .. hmesha sb kuch paane ki laalsa ko chor do .. jitna h utne me khus rehna sikho ... man pe or dimag pe control jis din paa liya vhi asli jivan h dost . baki or kuch janna h to jrur btana 👍🤗
