You can travel to kalimong and so to view point to see Kanchanjunga peak. You can also explore Pelling. so 3 days for three places and actually darjelling is a one day thing...

"Assuming that you are asking for treks in Winter", The best place for your first trip would be Kedarkantha Trek, Sankri (Dehradun) or Triund Trek, Mcleodganj, (Dharamshala). You can also visit Manali and explore treks like Kheerganga and Tosh.

upvoteUpvotemessageComment

Hi, Prashanth! The local bus fares vary from operator to operator and also on the basis of the kind of bus (luxury/semi-deluxe/volvo). For Delhi-Rishikesh, fares range from ₹295-800, approximately. For Rishikesh - Joshimath, there is only one state-run bus that departs from Rishikesh between 06:10 am - 06:30 am and the bus fare may range from ₹ 300 - ₹500. However, frequent taxis ply between Rishikesh and Joshimath at very decnt prices.

Depends on what you like, I would have visited the beach and managed to spend my entire day there. :)
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
You should start with a morning visit to sea and watch the fishermen bring in fresh catch or can come back post breakfast and laze around on beach or go for a backwater boat ride and see some jelly fishes in water.

Europe is perfect in the summer! Try to plan every thing months before and you are not gonna spend a fortune....I travelled one month in italy ( august so super high season) from the north to the south and I didn’t spend so much but I booked my accommodation in January.

It is definitely worth staying in Cherrapunji, the locals are very amiable, the place is like a breath of fresh air, and there are two good hotels and a lot of homestay. There is a lot to explore in and around Cherrapunji. Whereas, Shillong though beautiful and culturally different would once gain be similar to the city life.
