Northeast has a pleasant weather and good road conditions making it accessible all through the year. But personally I feel anytime between April to October is the best time as nature is at its best then.

Hey, you can go by Train/Airplane depending on availability and from where you are traveling. for accommodation you can book OYO rooms.

Hi Miss, we went to Alwar and then to Bhangarh. We started at 5 Am to reach Alwar early. Avoid night journeys as some of the roads can be confusing at night.

Alwar is the shortest route to reach Bhangarh at night But I'll suggest to visit Bhangarh at day 🙂🙂

I suggest travelling by car would be the better idea as you can enjoy the view during the journey well only by car.
if it's just the journey then bus is preferable.

Hey you can just take any normal hoteland freshen up and head to sand dunes and book any good tents there (there are n number of options available). Better go there see the tents and then confirm. Taking your parents along is not an issue at all even if they are aged. If you are high on budget check out Suryagarh!!

I would like to advice you to book a hotel/home stays/camps in advance, because it's a tropical place, you never know About the rain. So better to confirm your stay. Then we come on the travelling part. You better opt for a renting car. It will cost you around 2400/day. If you are looking around for renting a scooty or a bike you will get it on northeasttravel.com, it's pretty much cheaper. If I talk about roaming around Shillong and adjacent places, your planned days are enough. Place names: 1) Umiam lake

5) Cherrapunji

You have chosen a best place to visit. there are lots of places.
i would suggest while going to Meghalaya you better skip Shillong and go further to Cherrapunji and there you can visit Eco Park, Caves, Double decker living root bridge, Wie Sawdong Tripple waterfall, and then you can go to another day to Dawki and Shneongpdeng and there you can stay in camp near beautiful Crystal clear river and next day you can travel to the beautiful Krangsuri fall & one more thing you can visit while towards dawki the cleanest village in Asia And single decker living root bridge. you will fall in love with these places. #happyroaming

Its a remote place, not enough things to do. Secondly, it will be very cold. But if you want to have a quiet, peaceful holiday with no digital connectivity, then Tirthan Valley is a good idea.

Hey, we went to the Tirthan Valley New Years trip in 2017 year end. And let me start by saying it was really worth it. We started from Delhi by bus on 29th Dec evening and reached there on 30th Morning. There were two treks planned for 30th & 31st which we thoroughly enjoyed and 31st night was a bonfire party. We were 5 friends who had booked the package through Travel Triangle. Total group size was above 40. The place is nice & quiet with a river flowing just next to our accommodation. And though usually I'm not a big trekking fan, I really enjoyed my Tirthan Trip. It was a fun way to start off the new year! Definitely recommended😊 P.S.: The signal was a bit of a problem but 2 of us had a jio connection so were all able to communicate with our families. Rest, we were there to have fun, which it definitely was.
