Hi priyanka,
I recommend you to go for Bunkstay in Rishikesh, which is at the backside of Laxman Jhula.
Its awesome and you will get relax, awesome view, bikes on rent and complimentary breakfast. Also book directly on reception over there, because booking through BOOKING.com will cost you same (without breakfast)
You can check good hotels near mall road and market area in Dehradun and Rishikesh through Booking.com.
I will cost you around 1.2k per day in budget .
Last time I visited, I was charged 8000 for a 5 seater car. They charged me for a whole year instead of charging for the number of days I stayed there. & seaters were charged 16000 that time. This was 1 year ago.
If you meant kerala, I think there is considerable interest. After all, it is one of the most visited areas of the country by Indian and international tourists. :)
It's usually a 2 hours drive from Kuta region to Ulun Beratan temple. If you leave at 8am you will reach there around 10am. You can spend 1 hour at the temple till 11am and leave for Selfie Park which is 15-20 minutes from the temple. There you can spend another 1 hour from 11.30am to 12.30 pm at the selfie park & leave back for Kuta where you might reach around 2.30 pm. Explained keeping a 30 minute buffer period for you in case you need more time at any of the places.

Traveling has quite a few number of perks that can determine your feeling.
First of all, you get to go to new places which means you experience new people, culture, food and so on. This takes you away from the comfort of being surrounded by known people.
Secondly, traveling can give you new perspectives in life. You learn to value experiences and actually stop rushing behind something. A car breakdown can be frustrating but what if it happens on your way to a hill? Take a breath and enjoy the moment for a while.
Thirdly, you definitely learn to manage your expenses better. And, in doing so, you become more self-sufficient and independent.
It helps us get out of the routine. Since we both have 9 to 5 jobs, it can get monotonous. Travelling is the only escape.
Secondly, it makes you a better person since you meet new people and learn new cultures.
