Hey Akhil, 5 Days budget itinerary of Kashmir : Day0: Arrive in Jammu and take a sharing jeep to Srinagar ( 10 hours- Rs 500). Or you can take a cab to Banihal ( Rs400 ) then from Banihal take a train to Srinagar ( 1.5 hours- Rs20) Day1: Local sightseeing of Srinagar - Dal Lake, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Betaab Valley and old Srinagar city. The distance of gardens is 15km from the main city Day2 : Srinagar-> Sonmarg-> Srinagar. Spend at least one night at Shikara houseboat in Dal lake of Srinagar Day3: Sringar-> Gulmarg ( 3hours - 56KM).Visit Tangmarg town on the way to Gulmarg. Do activities like Gondola cable car, Ski and horse ride in Gulmarg Day4: Gulmarg-> Pahalgam ( 5 hours - 150KM). Visit Saffron fields of Pampora, Awantipura ruins and Bijbehara village on the way to Pahalgam. Spend the night at Pahalgam Day5: Pahalgam to Srinagar Pack winter clothes like jackets, woollen socks, woollen cap, gloves, moisturizer, first aid kit etc. Happy travelling!!!!!!!!!

Day 1 - Arrive Srinagar & get transferred to Hotel in Srinagar – Lake city of Kashmir famous for its lakes dotted with Shikara’s & the Mughal Gardens. Afternoon visits the world famous Shankaracharya Temple also known as Takht-e-Suleiman - 1100 feet. If you happen to be here in the month of April you can visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden which opens only for a few days during this time, before going to Cheshm-e-Shahi. Overnight at Houseboat. Day 2 - Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (80Kms / 02-03Hrs One Way) After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Sonamarg a Meadow of Gold & Gateway to Ladakh situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters with backdrop of snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. Later visit Thajiwas Glacier charm of Sonamarg. Overnight at Houseboat. Day 3 - Srinagar – Gulmarg (55Kms / 02Hrs) after breakfast proceed to Gulmarg, a Meadow of Flowers situated at an altitude of 2730 meters & famous for ski during the winters, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Later this Afternoon enjoy walk on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snowcapped mountains & enjoy Gondola Ride (Cable Car). Overnight at Hotel in Gulmarg. Day 4 - Gulmarg – Pahalgam (137Kms / 03-04Hrs) Today you will be transferred by road to Pahalgam the Valley of Shepherds - Situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, situated at 2,130 m. Arrive and proceed to your Hotel, rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight at Hotel in Pahalgam. Day 5 - Pahalgam enroute visit Avantipur Ruins – Srinagar (95Kms / 03 – 04Hrs) Transfer to Srinagar by road. Enroute visit Avantipur Ruins. King Awantivarman, who ruled Kashmir during 9th century, built both the temples – Shiva Temple and Avantiswami Temple. The Shiva Temple is renovated and in daily use, while Avantiswami Temple, which was dedicated to Lord Vishnu is now a ruin. Both the temples reflect Greek style of architecture. Arrive Srinagar and proceeThe eThe eveningr Hotel, rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own. I didnot have an opportunity to travel this side of Jammu & Kashmir, i would plan it sometime soon to explore Pahalgam and Gulmarg, Gulmarg is best around Nov / Dec when the snow fall starts..
