It is recommended for you to plan a Spiti trip between April and June. The temperature is manageable then, ranging from 0 to 15 degrees Celsius. Some people travel during the winter season as well (between November and March) but it is freezing cold in the region then. Besides, the roads can be a bit unpredictable due to snowfall. You should avoid travelling between July and September as monsoon makes the area unsafe. The best time to visit Spiti valley is between march to november as during December to February the temperature is very low and there will be a heavy snowfall..

Whole year is the best time to visit Spiti Valley if you love Summer - May to Mid September
Winter Lover - Dec to March its better to do Motorcycling from Shimla to kinnaur then Spiti and end the trip in Manali. in Winters Manali road is closed so you have to come back from the same route

Everytime is the best time i would depends upon your choice. i prefer visiting Spiti in winters as it offers so beautiful landscape plus it challenges you to your max.

Hy the best time to visit Spiti valley is after mid June as the Kumzula pass that comes after Losar will be closed by that time if it snows heavily this time For updates u can contact me as I m there in Pooh village that falls on way to spiti will let u k ow asa it gets open
