Hey Aamir, Goa is one of the best destinations for solo trip and for a group trip as well. If you are 5-8 hours drive distant from Goa you can choose to drive to Goa by car or better by bus as well so you can enjoy scenaries on the way to goa. also I would suggest choose wisely with respect to time which part of Goa you are planning to visit. e.g. North Goa or south Goa. UpvoteCommentYou can make friends in goa itself because people are pretty chilled out and few foreigners and portuguese are there as well so explore the goan culture and cuisine. Go party, relax by the side of sea waves and enjoy the coolest pubs. Also don't forget to share your solo trip such that more people can be inspired to take a solo trip instead one with friends which is so cliche nowadays.

Hey Aamir, Goa is a great option for travelling solo and with friends both. You can easily your solo trip to Goa under minimal budget. An average cost for a mid range traveller in Goa is around INR 1000-3000 per day.
You can find some good stay options (for solo travellers) in Ashwem, Vagator, Anjuna and Arpora.
