There are a few cool offbeat places I really enjoyed in South Goa. The Cola Beach near Palolem is beautiful - very peaceful and empty compared to Palolem. Great for an early morning stroll. Make sure to check out the little coconut stalls along the way. Agonda is another lovely beach - we really liked that it wasn't as busy as Palolem. Consider eating at The Fisherman's Cove restaurant - amazing seafood! We also did a kayaking trip near Cabo de Rama - so quiet and beautiful out in the mangroves. Keep an eye out for kingfishers. If you like hiking, I'd recommend the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. We saw herbivores like sambar deer and langurs. Pretty remote but worth it.

South Goa is known for its pristine beaches, vibrant culture, and laid-back atmosphere. In addition to the popular tourist spots, there are some offbeat places that offer a unique and less crowded experience. Here are both popular and offbeat places to visit in South Goa: Popular Places: Colva Beach: One of the most famous beaches in South Goa, Colva offers a long stretch of white sand and numerous shacks and eateries. Palolem Beach: Known for its crescent-shaped coastline and scenic beauty, Palolem is a popular beach with a relaxed atmosphere. Benaulim Beach: A quieter alternative to some of the more crowded beaches, Benaulim is known for its pristine shorelines and water sports. Agonda Beach: A serene and less crowded beach, Agonda is famous for its picturesque landscapes and turtle nesting sites. Dudhsagar Waterfalls: While technically located in the eastern part of Goa, Dudhsagar Waterfalls are a must-visit. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery and can be reached by a trek or jeep safari. Also Read :https://www.indianeagle.com/traveldiary/beach-resorts-in-south-goa/
