Yes you could or take beach side shacks as they r pretty cheap n you'll easily get it..

For one day in gokarna you can prefer camps as well as you can book any rooms nearby, shacks is also fine but most of the time foreigners prefers that

You can beach hop from Om beach kudle and paradise beach..Campsite is so cool at Gokarna and you need 1 night at least to experience it..Checkout my recent blogpost on Camping at Gokarna..
