In terms of distance: New Delhi to Toronto (..that's like the opposite side of the world)
in terms of time: New Delhi to Kanyakumari (via train took 2 and a half days, one of the best trips I can recall)
If you are going to stay in or near Udaipur for 5-6 days I would recommend Day 1/2 visit all the local spots in Udaipur
Day 3 try to visit Ranakpur jain temple and kumbalgarh fort (127km so start early and be back by evening)
Day 4 try to visit eklinji close to Udaipur City and then nathdwara for its temples and huge lord shiva statue (it's still being constructed 44km away from Udaipur)
Day 5 try to visit Chittorgarh fort (approx. 115 kms from Udaipur) Happy travel and be safe please.
Both are equally good. Red fort is more of a fortress which you can walk through and be in awe of this architecture. Also now we have a metro station there India Gate is much better during sunsets, if you are in the right angle you will be amazed on how well you can capture the sunset :) Also you can relax at India gate in one of its parks and enjoy cool breeze now...

Munnar, kerla
shillong, national parks , Meghalaya
darjiling , west Bengal
पर मेरा मानना है कि आप उत्तराखंड, काश्मीर , हिमांचल के अनदेखी जगह जा सकते हो।
Here are some options:
1. Ladakh - nature & culture
2. Coorg - nature & relaxed
3. Kodaikanal - relax in luxurious properties
4. Darjeeling - explore the world of tea
Hi Harshal, July is monsoon in most parts and since you're traveling with a baby, I'd recommend places in the plains like Rajasthan, Western Ghats of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Coorg (Karnataka) and Kerala. These places don't involve too much traveling and are ideal for a family getaway.
