The ideal time has started. April to June is very good though July is not bad and then Aug-early October. just check the rains in July. you'd probably want to start from Kaza or you can go to keylong and start from there. Best of luck for a heavenly and humbling experience of these majestic mountains that due to their barrennes seem to change colors with the shade of the sunlight. With them on your sides as you criss cross the Spiti valley, and sparse villages in between, you can be assured of an experience of a lifetime..

Are you referring to Ooty or some other place.... because Ooty is in Tamil Nadu....
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
If you are planning in midst of nature still near city, check out Hotel Darshan near Ooty lake, if near city center, shopping places or near Botanical Garden check places near Charring Cross, that is the central hub. For more of a nature and comfort check out Hotel Mount and Mist. I visited Ooty just 3 weeks back and stayed at Hotel Darshan per my requirement. Enjoy you vacation.

Yes. Recently I went to Goa ad you will get many cheap homestays over there. I would suggest plan to go there after the election. As most of the pubs and restaurants are getting closed by 10 am. So it will be very disappointing from a tourist's point of view. Even if you are planning to explore Goa on bike then you must rent it for a week. It will definitely lower your cost. If you love solitude in your life then try not to stay near the beaches. Goa is a place where people will not judge you on the basis of petty things. You can definitely enjoy the beaches as per your terms. If you are planning to travel during May it will be very hot. Monsoons will not be so favorable for tourist purpose. But I heard people enjoy rains as well in Goa.

Yes there are many, but do not go now. There is alot of issues going on with the election. So go after May 30.

March-April is best time to visit Rishikesh. You can Enjoy Rafting first day and take tour around city. There are many Ganga Beaches there which make you feel refresh. second day you can do hiking to Neelkanth or can take tour to Rajaji National Park.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
I'll be also in rishikesh on that day..rafting is still in action just the rates have increased abruptly. now 16km rafting will cost you 1k per person. If you love adventure sports then do bungee jumping. must do camp stay over there. visit to neelkanth temple. lunch at chotiwala restaurant. rest you can get in touch.

It can be possible. but stay at home stays or hostel. plus cut short your luxury, use public transport. plus this amount should be without flights.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Possible if you exclude air fares + prefer to stay in a homestay or zostel kind of thing
