Hi Dhruval, since you are going on a trekking packages, there isn't much you can do on your own. There must be a fixed itinerary given to you by the organiser you will be following that itinerary only. Sandakphu is a beautiful trek you will witness some of the most beautiful landscapes on thsi trek, it will be all white, covered in snow and you can visit view Kanchenjunga.

Hello, You can book hostel in both the cities. For places to visit and things to do in Prague, you can check my blog: http://penning-silly-thoughts.com/traveling-to-prague/. I have added a lot of details and reviews of the places I visited. As per accommodation in Prague, I stayed in Student House Botic. It wasn't a pleasant experience, so I would suggest you to check the ratings on Hostelworld.com or booking.com for the best accommodation. Accommodation options in Budapest would GoodMo House or Wombat's City Hostel. GoodMo House was a little cheap than Wombat's, but it was super cool with spacious room and common area and clean kitchen. I stayed in Wombat's in Munich and Vienna and I can swear it was by far the best hostel I have stayed in. Super cool party culture place. For Budapest: Definitely eat at Sock's Coffee(small breakfast cafe), Govinda Restaurant (for a super simple vegetarian Indian food). Walk around the city and as you do that make sure to stop by and appreciate the old architecture that the city has. You can visit places like: Jewish Synagogue, St. Stephen's Basilica and if you are lucky, you get to watch live movie screening just outside the church, walk across the famous Chain Bridge, and go to Fisherman's Bastion (you get amazing views of the Hungarian Parliament Building and rest of the city from here) followed by Buda Castle, watch sunset from Elisabeth Bridge, hike up the Gelle?rt Hill, enjoy warm bath at one of the thermal baths, go to Margaret island and must must go to Great Market Hall for shopping souvenirs and much more.

Hi Srikar, it would totally depend on you how do you want to enjoy your vacations. If you like driving on some fine roads across mountains and valley you should definitely go for self drive rentals. However if you want to enojy the beauty and relax you should go for a driver. You can ask your hotel to arrange the taxi and they can do it for you.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Car rentals and taxi service is easily available from the hotels itself...i recommend you to go for car rental service...it's an awesome feeling driving with beauty around you

You can contact a local tourist agency to make your bookings.. or you can contact the hotel agencies at a lower altitude to make bookings...this can be done too..
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
It depends on how much are you willing to trek, if you start from Barsu Dayara Bugyal is a short trek and can be done in a day. Also you won't be allowed to stay at the Bugyals because of the HC order. Kedarkantha is a longer trek. You will find plenty of snow in both the treks, so its upto you whether you want a short trek or a long trek.

Hey Swechha, Go ahead with dayara bugyal .. As they say dayara s the Queen of meadows and you get a lots of snow in December ... it's also a little challenging comparing to a easy trek like Nag tibba ... Dayara s also less crowded comparatively ... Happy Trekking !!!
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Swechha, both of these are different kind of treks. If you want to just enjoy snow with a small nearby trek you can go for Nag tibba, the views are not going to be really spectacular. But if you want to enjoy 360 degree of snowclad mountain peaks, endless snow covered meadows, go for Dayara Bugyal. Of the two you have mentioned Dayara Bugyal is the better choice.

Hi Raghav, Check out tilmatti beach. Its one of the few black sand beaches in our country. It needs a small hike of 20 min. Then there is INS Chapel war ship museum, Rabindranath tagore beach and a few temples. One whole day is sufficient for Karwar. Hope this helps.
