It depends, what you like and how many days you have. if u want to go for a small trip then go to dharamshala and nearby places. and if u have time then you should definitely go to northeast.

Well, the best time would definitely be the winters. Since I have already done that, this is my second ride across Rajasthan. Monsoon will be setting in, and in a couple of weeks, the weather will be less hot. The best reason to visit Rajasthan in the off season is that you will find the stay absolutely cheap. But if it is your first time, I would advise visiting during the winters. P.S. The only sad part is , winters are mostly reserved for the beaches, which are equally fun, tbh. P.P.S.
