The last couple of years has seen the best of humankind drown with anxiety, stress, fear, sadness or loneliness. These trying times need you to rejuvenate and start 2022 with a replenished and peaceful mind.

Experiential Living Project has got the travellers the ideal place to 'Pause.Reflect.Rejuvenate' with their property The Fika Homes in Gadagusain.

Where is Gadagusain?

The bug of witnessing the quaint hamlets of the Himalayas never stops biting; hence we reach this serene town at an altitude of around 8,500feet, 20kms ahead of Jibhi and Tirthan. Just the images from this tantalising valley would make you pack your bags and refuel your rides. But, the ride to Gadagusain is not an easy one. The roads lack infrastructure once you pass Jibhi and might need a 4x4 to reach during peak winter months with heavy snowfall around.

As we often say, a destination's beauty is inversely propotional to the ease of reaching it.

What is The Fika Homes

What is The Fika Homes? A mountaintop chalet? A hostel in the hills? A rustic getaway destination? It is something all this and more!

The word Fika comes from Scandinavia

Let's explore some history and culture from Scandanavia. The concept of fika crops up from Sweden and is a big part of every Swede's life. Fika means to have a coffee and pause. It is a social phenomenon. It allows them to meet and hang out with friends, get to know new people, spend time with potential partners or network with business folks.

Hopping on this beautiful concept, Experiential Living Project has built the idea into a reality with The Fika Homes in Gadagusain. The idea of fika was conceptualised and integrated by the team once the work began.
