Do people live in caves?

Ya that is how our ancestors used to live thousands of years ago. How about now ? Do people like to stay in caves in the twentieth century? The answer to that would be, normal people wouldn't prefer the caves but specific type of travelers might.

I heard this concept of people living in caves on a fine evening while sipping beer with some of the homies in a half a century year old bar in Goa. This was definitely an interesting catch for me so ya I had to get my bike ready the following morning and check out the place.

This cave beach was 25 KMS from where I was staying and I was feeling this is not a morning place and made the plan for the evening. It was a nice thirty minute bike ride to the beach. The scenery was so good that I didn't even realize I was riding for thirty minutes.

It was drizzling and the beach was on the Maharashtra-Goa border. I almost crossed the border but was stopped by cops at the barricade. I turned around and it took me a while to find the way to the beach. Thanks to google maps like most of the time where it at least put me on the right track but not necessarily the exact spot.

The beach was definitely a big one and it looked clean and beautiful. The shores had caves all along the way and I tried to take a look inside the caves and it looked creepy. But was it habitable? If one asked me, I would say no. But people lived there, the hippy travelers liked to live in these caves for months maybe for years by the beach and have a great experience there. And the police and the local people never minded about these travelers staying at these caves so it was all peace for them.

I climbed on the small hills above these caves and sat down there for a couple of hours playing music on my speaker enjoying the Sun set on the Arabian sea.
