When is the Best Time to Visit Iceland?

The best weather in Iceland is from May to August when you can expect pleasant temperatures and long days. But this is also high season and hotels, tours, and flights should be booked many months in advance. April and September are reasonable alternatives with decent weather, shorter days, smaller crowds, and cheaper prices.

Best Time to See the Northern Lights: Many people come to Iceland hoping to see the northern lights. It’s an ideal place to do so. which is why the best time to see them is from late September through late March, when there are full dark nights. Another important factor is the weather – cold, clear nights are best and Solar flares on the sun or solar wind is also required When all of these conditions are met, you’ll have the best chance to view the northern lights

visa process for iceland??

you can apply for visa at VSF global. when i went to iceland i applied with the Embassy of Denmark. Currently, applicants submitting in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore have to apply directly with the Embassy of Iceland. the link to the vsf iceland website is below

Travelling around Iceland??

Car/Camper van:

Driving in Iceland with Indian driving licence?

yes,The minimum age to rent a passenger car in Iceland is 20 years old for insurance and safety reasons.

The minimum age to rent a 4WD vehicle or a minibus is 23 years old, as these vehicles require further experience and a more intimate knowledge of vehicle handling.

You must present a valid driver’s license (held for a minimum of one year) at the time of rental as a means of proving your age.

To rent a car in Iceland, you will need to have a credit card, a driver’s license in English (or with an official translation) and driving experience of more than one year.
