The popular hill station is located off the Mumbai Pune Express way in Maharashtra. The place is famous for its natural beauty and climate. Lonavala is located at a height of 625 meters above sea level. It is 110 km away from Mumbai and 60 km from Pune.
There’s not much to see in here, but it’s one of the best places to just go to relax with your close ones. The Tiger Point is the most beautiful and one of the sunset points of Lonavala. Just next to Tiger Point, there is another point called Lion Point.
The place is famously known for ‘Chikki’s’ and ‘Chocolate fudge’. Besides chikkis and fudge, one can also buy jams and jellies in Lonavala.
If you’re planning to visit this place in the near future, I will suggest you to book your rooms in advance. Budget hotels and resorts are available for stay in Lonavala. AC rooms are not necessary.
