Itinerary
Day 1
- Pick up from Guwahati airport and get a transfer to Meghalaya
- On the way to Shillong you will visit the beautiful Umiam Lake, a major tourist attraction where you can have lunch also
- Visit Elephant Falls before you check-in to the hotel
- After the city visit, back to the hotel
- Check-in to the hotel and enjoy the food in the evening can have a leisurely walk locally
Day 2
- After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed towards Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in Asia
- Go for a short trek of the village and see the Khasi way of life and meet the locals
- You can visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh Viewpoint and the longest Living Root Bridge
- You can have a bath over here, enjoy local boating
- On the way to Dawki, you can enjoy the view of Barnhill Falls and Kyram Falls Right at the midway while going downhill
- After that, back to Cherrapunjee hotel
- Reach there by the evening check into the hotel and enjoy the food in the evening can have a leisurely walk locally
Day 3
- Explore Shillong Peak that gives a scenic view to the visitors
- Shillong peak is actually one of the highest points of the state and is therefore regarded as a highly famous Shillong attraction
- Get a transfer for your return journey
