Majnu Ka Tilla is a Tibetan refugee colony in north Delhi famous for its lip smacking Tibetan food and vibrant markets. There we met Tenzin Sharma who has been serving Laphing for the past 3 years. Laphing are rolls of refined flour along with chillies and soybean . It is a veg snack which originated in Tibet. Laphing are available in two choices, the dry one and the soupy one, but both are equally spicy. Along with the laphing, Tenzin serves homemade chilli chutney and soy sauce.

Majnu ka Tilla is a favourite among students for offering great quality goods at the cheap prices. Tenzin serves from 12 noon to 10 pm at night and prepares traditional North Indian dishes like Dal, paneer at her home. She is a true example of the people who make Delhi what Delhi it is, a culmination of different cultures and foods. The series Spices Of Delhi showcases the people who have migrated to Delhi and are now serving some of the most popular dishes of Delhi.
