New Restaurants in Mumbai

1. Cirqa

Cirqa is a new two storey cocktail bar in Lower Parel with a space upstairs called 1960. When you visit Cirqa try their drinks like duck fat washed 'Shut the Duck Up' with cinzano rosso, a Bombay Duck stout beer reduction with an espresso base. Try their smoked mackerel pâté on Hokkaido toast, lobster tail bisque emulsion, buff dry fry, aubergine fritters and so much more!

2. Cray Craft

You will notice clay decor, mellow lights and art-deco elements offering a touch of warmth when you enter Cray Craft. A new restaurant in Marol, featuring Indian classic, Asian as well as Mediterranean and European dishes. Try their Korean shiitake baos, chicken and bok choy dim sums, veggie bowls, crab croquettes and more.

3. Kizbara

Kizbara is a Turkish, Arabian and Lebanese restaurant in Kala Ghoda. The arched doorways, patterned tiles and chandeliers will transform you to a Middle Eastern place. Try their harissa chicken kebab and shish taouk, the spinach or curried chicken pides and Moroccan olive chicken rice.

4. Fish Curry Rice

The famous fish thali (meal) spot in Pune is now finally in Mumbai's Dadar area after an outlet in Thane. For all you non vegetarian lovers out there, try the flavourful thalis like bangda, pomfret, prawns, rawas, bombil, crab or tisrya (clams), chicken, mutton and egg. The unique dish to try is their signature prawn aluwadi.

5. C. D’souza

The Goan eatery C. D’souza has a single-page menu featuring sorpotel, potato chops, cafreal, vindaloo, choris-pao, prawn curry and mori ambotik, among others. End your meal with the coconut pudding or cashew marzipans.

6. Paul

Paul is a bakery-cum-French cafe at the Palladium Mall. Get a cappuccino with crispy canapés, sandwiches, pasta, parmesan polenta steak or salmon provençal. Start your weekend here with their extensive breakfast and try the petite fruit, lemon tartlets, crème brûlée, cheesecakes, flan, chocolate eclairs or the intricately layered millefeuille.

7. Thea

Thea is a rooftop diner with a dining area and bar on the first floor, along with a charming café on the ground floor. Try their Middle Eastern-spiced lamb, marinated for over 36 hours , the slow-cooked sous vide or chicken wings coated with an in-house maple-soya dry rub.

8. Naga Belly

Naga Belly was initially a cloud kitchen, and started by childhood friends Aren Longkumer and Juliet Assumi in 2020. Now a restaurant, you can go and try their Naga Pork Bhujia, Naga-style Chicken Liver and Gizzard, Naga Pakoras, which can be made with pork or chicken. They also serve other dishes from the North East, try the Singju from Manipur and Wahan Mosdeng (pork salad) from Tripura.

1. Taido

Taido is a new pan-Asian restaurant in Gurugram with cuisines from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. Try the appetisers including tom yum honey lotus stem, black pepper squid karaage, gochujang pork belly, salmon carpaccio, among others. In the mains a must try is the mapo tofu, Massaman lamb curry, and miso grilled vegetables.

2. Camillo’s Pizzeria

Camillo’s Pizzeria brings artisanal Neapolitan-style pizzas made with San Marzano tomato sauce, and a blend of Italian, Danish and local cheeses. They also have a range of pies on the menu including wild mushroom and burrata, caramelised onion and feta, and prosciutto crudo.

1. Cumulus by SMOOR

An alfresco dining experience Cumulus by the chocolate brand SMOOR is situated on the rooftop of Bengaluru’s Museum of Art & Photography. Book a fine dining dinner date on the terrace for a blend of European and Asian cuisines. Try the tofu krapow on crisp shell, sushi, Thai curries, cocoa-dusted tiramisu and the decadent caramel pecan tart.

Pangeo is the newest buzzing bar at Brigade Road sporting a Chivas XV and a United Breweries Lounge. Try the Cocktail Tree which is a fusion of six different cocktails along with some wontons, crab meat rice bowls, Goan ros omelette, Naga pork bites, shahi gosht pulao and haleem baklava.

3. Loya

Located in Taj West End in Bengaluru, Loya is a North Indian cuisine restaurant. The menu revives lost culinary traditions from the Himalayas, like the art of smoking and slow cooking, and long-preserved authentic recipes made with heirloom ingredients. Try their ghost chilli murg tikka, timbri jhinga (marinated prawns served with Pahadi bhaang jeera chutney), lamb biryani and more.

2. Barfly

Barfly is a new restaurant in Assagao housed within a 150-year-old Portuguese-Goan bungalow. Try their cocktails like the Caprese (Patron Reposado tequila, basil and cherry tomatoes) and the Arabica (Kahlua and Jose Cuervo Gold tequila) paired with sourdough tartines topped with avocado, goat cheese and guava compote, seafood ajillo and thin-crust pizzas.

1. Cake Walk

Cake Walk has been a favourite in Chennai, now has opened at Kothari Road, as a café serving interesting fusions of local and international cuisines such as mutton keema on thattai, corn ribs, pizzas and brioche burgers. Don't forget to get the ice cream sundaes and specialty coffees.

1. Ohana Cocktail Bar & Kitchen

You can party all night long at their five distinct sections - the Sky Bar, Alfresco Bar, a shots room named Tipsy, an indoor night club and an indoor dining area for families.
