Our guide will pick up you from the hotel or airport by air conditioned vehicle to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. You'll also get the chance to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of all three pyramids and the Valley Temple facing the great Sphinx.
Okay no surprise there. One of the most historically significant and culturally rich sites is the pyramids in Egypt. Standing tall and proud on the vast sprawling sand dunes are these manmade marvel which leaves the tourist astound. The magnificence of these mighty structures together with Sphinx cannot even nearly be assessed from still or motion pictures. Set in the backdrop stories of world’s ancient most civilization, The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt. Cairo is extremely rich in culture and as long been known for its musical and dramatic talent and as the site of a renaissance in Arab theatre. And don’t forget to bring back with you pristine Egyptian paintings made on papyrus.
Post your hotel pick up, we'll start the tour with our visit to the greatest wonder on earth- the Giza pyramids. Our visit will include all the 3 great pyramids- Cheops, Chefren and Macarinos. There will also be a special visit to the panorama spot to take photos of the three pyramids in one shot. After which, we'll head to the great Sphinx, which is the biggest Sphinx in Egypt followed by a visit to the valley temple, also called the mummification temple. The Giza pyramid is one of the main heritage buildings, which includes ancient wonders of the world. It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis. Built as a tomb for the fourth dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh, Khufu. It was constructed for more than 20 years, approximately around the year 2560 BC. Three smaller pyramids for Khufu's wives, and a pyramid of "satellite" smaller again, in the form of an elevated track, and mastaba tombs surround the pyramid.
We'll begin exploring the wonders that Cairo has to offer, with a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Pyramids of Giza and the great Sphinx. An optional lunch will be followed by a visit to The Papyrus institute and the Perfume shop. The evening will draw upon your transfer to the train station, where we'll escort you to board the luxurious sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner will be served on boarding the train.
