Pachmarhi Tourism & Travel Guide

We've all heard and seen this beautiful hill station in umpteen Bollywood flicks! Enveloped by the Satpura hills, Panchmari is tucked into a corner of Madhya Pradesh. It is also prominently known as 'Satpura ki Rani'. Pachmarhi has a list of attractions that will make any tourist super happy. As for travellers, you can head to any corner of the hamlet to discover its many treasures. From viewpoints to rock cut caves, from lush green forests to cascading waterfalls, wildlife to extensive water bodies, there is no dearth of places to visit. Sunder Kund, Pandav Caves, Catholic Church and Satpura National Park are to name a few. The cave shelters at Mahadeo Hills are wondrous works that depict love tales and scenes through rock paintings. Cave paintings, as old as 10,000 years, exist in the forests of Pachmarhi. The spectacular Jamuna Prapat works as the water supplier for the hill station and you will see it a number of times while making your way through this hill station. The meandering roads through the groves will effortlessly take you through the picturesque spaces, old cottages, and gardens which have an air of tranquillity and old world essence about it. There are a number of places to stay here, from budget to luxurious hotels. And foodies don't have to worry about their quota of delicious food. There are various restaurants that serve a plethora of cuisines and local delicacies.
