It has been quite some time after my trip to Kerala, but the sound of the crystal clear water flowing in between rocks still rings in my ears soothingly. Anything other than pristine would be an under rated word to describe the scenic beauty of the river. (This one is not a big one, a smaller water body, the natives haven't even named it, and they call it the 'river by the school')

I have been to this place twice in the past, but never did I see this little bunch of nature’s beauty flowing. It is actually hidden, only the villagers know about it. I was a lot excited when someone told me that there is river somewhere near where I stay. But I was ecstatic when I saw it flowing secretly yet in full force. The sight would want everyone take a back seat and gaze at the never ending activity forever.

This little pack of beauty was further enhanced with tall rubber trees that bend down from both sides towards it. We reached there by noon time and the rays of the sunlight were sparkling on the water making it look more beautiful. And the scorching heat had no effect on the comforting and refreshing water which was just out of the woods.

One dip in it would make you feel like in a different planet. We spent two hours there and then left for another place.
