One of most iconic trek in Annapurna region, Annapurna circuit trek is a circular trek where the concluding point is different from the starting point. On your way to trail, you will traverse through a completely contrasting landscapes having lush subtropical and alpine forest of mixed rhododendron and oak. Further, the quaint village nestled amidst of verdant and semi-barren land adds up the beauty of the trek.

Annapurna Circuit trek is one most well-known and busiest trek in Nepal. Annapurna Circuit route varies between 160km to 230km depending on where the transportation is used and trek ends. Annapurna section is 55km long with Kali Gandkai Gorge in the west, Marshyangdi River to the north and Pokhara valley to the south. The enchanting view of 16 peaks above 6,000m, 13 peaks above 7,000m and one peak above 8,000m fascinates the trek.

Annapurna Circuit Trek 12 day’s itinerary is designed for those who are ready to experience the highland adventure and challenge but limited by time. The trail traverses through Marsyangdi valley to the north of Himalaya ranges and crosses Thorung La Pass (5,416m) to descend into dramatic semi-barren land of the Upper Kali Gandaki Valley. Moreover, the trail goes through the isolated hamlets of Gurungs, Manangis and Thakalis and also passes through many temples and monasteries. For more adventure, you can join the side trip and excursion of the place like Manang, Muktinath and Jomsom.

Annapurna Circuit Trek can be done in fully tea house mode. This is moderate trek ideal for passionate walkers who have capability to walk for 6/7 hours a day. The best season for Annapurna circuit trek is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November)
