Chindi is an off beat destination located near Karsog Valley of Himachal Pradesh. If you enjoy peace during your vacation this is a perfect place to visit. You can also drive from Delhi to Chindi village if you have your own vehicle.
Boarded bus to Shimla from Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate
Reached Shimla around 10am. From Shimla taxi stand we hired a taxi to Chindi village. The journey enroute Naldhera. Stayed at hotel Mamleshwar. Sight seen - Chindi mata temple, explore Chindi village by walk. Rest at night in hotel.
Next day we went on sightseeing. Visited- Kamakhsya Devi temple, Mamleshwar temple (5000 years old Shiva temple which has a grain of wheat that weights 300 gm), Mahunag temple and Karsog Valley. All temples are famous for their wooden architecture.
Same day return to Shimla. At Shimla we explored Mall road.
Return to Delhi by bus from Shimla.
