I have started my journey from Delhi, it took me around 5 hours from Delhi to Singapore. Changi airport is one of the busiest airports in Asia. Once you finish the immigration and custom, just go to exit . Changi Airport has four terminals. You can take the Skytrain for travelling between the terminal. There is a shuttle bus that connects terminals 2 and 3, go to gate E and B for it. If you need to reach Terminal 4 there is a specific shuttle bus that will go there.

Below, I will explain the different ways of travelling from Singapore airport to the city. After getting through the below-mentioned transporting ways, you will know exactly which transport modes suit you better as per your convenience.

BY MRT

Travelling in Singapore by MRT is very cheap. Follow the signage that reads "Train to the City" throughout the airport, follow the direction for Changi Airport MRT station. The MRT is available in the basement of Terminals 2 and 3 at the airport. No matter what terminal (1, 2, or 3) you arrive at, just follow the signs “Train to the City” to get there. Once you will reach the MRT station, you can purchase the EZ-LINK card at MRT (metro) station.

what is EZ-LINK CARD

It is a kind of smart card, which can be used to pay transport fares on buses, MRT, taxis, and other private transport modes. You can also use this card to buy foods and drinks from food stores, and vending machines. Your Ez-link card needs a minimum amount of SGD 3.0 to be used on buses and MRT.

After purchasing the EZ-LINK card, take the train from Changi Airport MRT station to Tanah Merah station, then transfer to the East-West Line towards Tuas Link MRT Station or after reaching to Tanah Merah, you can catch a Greenline MRT train to get to many popular places along this line such as Kallang, Lavender, Bugis, City Hall and Chinatown. But if your hotel is close to the purple line or others, then you will need to interchange the station. Refer the map for more information. Find the timings below for MRT

It runs after every 15 minutes .the fare would be 9 dollars and for kids, it's 6 dollars. You can make a booking by using automated service at the airport or you can also find the booking area for booking the shuttle at the airport.

BY Taxi

if you would choose to travel by cab or taxi, it will really shoot up your budget. it can cost you around 25-40 dollar, it depends on the peak hours timings. Another option is you can book the taxi by grab at very cheap prices, it will decrease the cost of the taxi by one third.

If you plan to travel a lot while being in Singapore, then Singapore Tourist Pass is a really cost-effective option. it will allow you to have unlimited rides on the MRT and bus. There are 3 types of passes:
