Coz Travelling is the drug of choice,
make sure if you are travelling with friends, you all agree to a mutual decision.
For eg: We all decided to explore some off known places of Delhi rather than visiting the usual Red fort, Qutub Minar, etc , etc.And it was something to which we all agreed quite happily.
1. Garden of Five Senses:-
After surfing a lot last night, we came to know about this place in Saket.
Garden of Five Senses, A beautifully crafted Park with a motive of awakening all your Five Senses -the colour, the noise , touch , taste and smell.
This Garden Complex has a wide variety of things from artistic to imaginative to realistic.A full trail across the garden is no less than a trekking experience, with highs and lows.
The spiral walkways with flowers on both side add character to Garden. After a lot of walking, we got into an Open Theatre, *supposed to be a theatre actually*
But the best part was a bronze statue isolated somewhere in between the bushes. Actually not even completely visible, it was a luck to get a sight of it.
And then there's a place ( you have to Trail high above to reach there) , where you get a full panoromic view of Saket city. And it's really amazing.
After our experience at this garden of five senses, we proved the fact that,
We don't go crazy,
We are crazy
We go normal
From time to time.
And within no time it turned from,
Garden of five senses
To
Garden of eight nonsenses.
Yups :- this was our squad .. (:-P)
2. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
A beautifully constructed Gurdwara and a really big one too, it's a place where you come close to history of Sikhism through the use of technology.
The way they Use modern gadgets for inducing spirituality and to make an unfamiliar person like me, come across the history is really really amazing.
The ambiance of that place - the Devotees sitting and doing paaths, those chants of shabads echoing in it's environment, touching your inner soul, sitting besides the water there, everything is amazing.
Time - spend at least 3-4 hrs there.
AIIMS
Star night of KK - how can this be missed.
The atmosphere there, the crowd of medicos, all cheering and gearing was absolutely stunning.
But again no DJ party.
I guess this is something which pulse should look upto this time, in 2k17.
PS :- If you don't want to attend the day events at pulse, you have an alternative of night passes, which I guess is a better option.
We had our stay at :- Hotel Innova Residency( Safdarjung enclave).
