Day 1: Arrival in Jodhpur and Next teps
Jodhpur is well connected by train, flight, and roadways.
Option 1: If you are taking the morning flight and reaching your hotel by 9.00 am, you can plan the heritage walk to the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.
Option 2: If you are taking the afternoon flight and reaching your hotel by evening, you can plan the local Sadar Bazar visit.
We reached our hotel around 4.00 pm, hence opted for the second option.
- Clock Tower and Sardar Market: Spend the evening shopping for Bandhani textiles, spices, handicrafts, and jewelry. Try the famous Makhaniya Lassi from Shri Mishrilal Hotel.

Day 2: Visit Heritage Monuments
-Mehrangarh Fort: The visit to Mehrangarh Fort will easily need around 2–3 hours. Exploring the fort’s palaces, museums, and courtyards. Don’t miss the panoramic view of the blue city.

-Chamunda Mata Temple: Located within Mehrangarh Fort, this temple is dedicated to the city’s protector goddess.
-Jaswant Thada: Walk or drive to this serene white marble cenotaph, located near the fort. It’s a peaceful place with beautiful architecture and landscaped gardens.

-Umaid Bhawan Palace: Visit this luxurious palace to see vintage cars and royal artifacts and get a taste of the history of Jodhpur’s rulers.

-Toorji Ka Jhalra (Stepwell): Explore this beautiful stepwell, perfect for photography.
