Rejoicing the fact that Thailand will open to Travel soon, i want to rediscover the paradise that i last visited, KOH TAO. A part of Tarutao National Marine Park, which is populated with small islands and known for its coral-rich waters, crystal clear blue ocean and the most beautiful islands i have visited in Thailand.
HOW TO GET TO KOH LIPE FROM BANGKOK
The quickest way is to fly to Had Yai, take a taxi or minibus to Pak Bara, from where you take the boat to Koh Lipe. If you arrive in Had Yai on an early flight, you can make it to Koh Lipe in 1 day.
Another way to this is Fly to Koh Trang and a Bus & Ferry ride will take u to Koh tao ( total 850 - 1000 baht)
STAY IN KOH LIPE
While this is a small island compared to the famous Phuket or PhiPhi, you have beach side accomodations from shacks to 4 star hotels.
I stayed here at Anda Hotel in Koh Lipe. It is located right on the Sunrise beach and has a decent spread of Breakfast too. Out of all 3 beaches i prefer staying at Sunrise, as it is the prettiest & also easily accesible to restaurants and fewer boats compared to the others.
BEACHES IN KOH LIPE
While you can go island hopping to various places with a long tail boat, Koh Lipe contains of 3 main beaches, Sunset, Sunrise & Pattaya beach.
ISLANDS NEARBY BY LONGTAIL BOAT / KAYAK (in order of being famous)
Koh Adang (Stay options available here)
Koh Rawi
Koh Hin-Ngam
Koh Tong/Batong, also known as Monkey Beach
Koh Usen

Koh Bulu
While every single island has a unique thing about them, they all are almost dreamy with crystal clear waters and you can go off snorkeling from almost any of them.
