Puthuvype light house beach : It is very close to my heart. its that one place where you just find yourself at ease, so relaxed. sound of the waves and the awesome greenary around. its just a photographers paradise.
Because of the same this place has been location for few movies and my first professional shoot i did for Malayalam actress and miss Nepal 2017 in exact same location and no one will believe those were places just next to a beach
Once you are in Cochin its just a 50 min ride to this place.
Because of the same reason as i said before where ever you moves your lens u get a different perspective of this place and for my pre- wedding shoot i wanted it be taken here itself no other place will give justice to the pictures like this place do.
you will people playing football in the beach, few playing kabadi and once u walk along there will be a full stretch of beach area which to not much crowded and you just feel the gentle breeze . Close your eyes and just sink into the eternal feeling of bliss
The closest, the cleanest, the less crowded, and absolutely great place to unwind in Kochi. this spot as this the place for my kite experiments.
This beach is located near the proposed refinery on vypin island there are no commercial activities around which makes this place cool and calm, only some fishermen in the morning, there is a lighthouse nearby which opens at 10 am , and has entry fees and camera Fess for mobiles also. the view from the top of the light hpuse is just magical . The only way to get a full panoramic view of the surrounding area. The Arabian Sea lapping the shore, multiple sea birds in the pond areas. Look inland over small individual plots with their coconut plantations, and the odd temple protruding through the tree tops. Multiple villagers going about their daily chores.Be careful about the mud and black sand in some parts of the beach
It is A fantastic alternative to the crowded Cherai Beach
THE GOOD things about t the beach compared to cherai beach is
- Virtually empty and very clean
- The entrance to the beach is very pretty with lagoons and groves of trees
- The lighthouse next door gives commanding views
- Sunsets are gorgeous
THE NOT SO GOOD
- You need your own vehicle
- The waters are dangerous for swimming
- The slope of the beach is steep
- Some sections of the lagoon have become dirty due to trash.
so if you are in for less crowded beach in Cochin with gorgeous surroundings and calm and enjoyable beach this is the one to visit.
