Bhandardara is a beautiful place yet less known hill station near Mumbai in the sahyadri hill range. Bhandardara is located at an altitude of about 2471 feet above sea-level. The Bhandardara Lake and the Randha falls are major tourist attractions. Our trip started from Kasara Station, every backpacker was asked to catch a 9:42 am Train from CST towards Kasara. We reached our meeting point at 11:51 am (Kasara station).

To reach the campsite we took a local vehicle service, driven by the local supports. It took around 3 and half hours (including halts for lunch break) to reach the base village Bhandardara, and after that we left for the Arthur lake via boat at 4:30.

After arriving the base camp we set ourselves free to explore the view and we started to build our tent one by one and then people were allowed to choose their tent

At 7:30 we started setup bonfire and the we got one surprise of barbecue and we were dancing in the happiness. We started to setup barbecue with locals because many of us were not used to barbecue as it was first time that we were cooking food on barbecue.

Then went to the Amriteshwar temple the temple has some unique stone like hero stone (the stone are representing the soldiers of the village who died in the battle field). The temple is 1000 year old.
