When I first found out that I would be stopping over at Singapore for 48 hours on my way to Australia, my happiness knew no bounds. Singapore is one of the most interesting cities in the world. It packs a plethora of tourist attractions within the city limits. If you are flying over Asia to the east, I highly recommend stopping over at Singapore. 48 hours is more than enough to experience the best of Singapore. Here’s how is made the most of my 48-hour sojourn at Singapore.

DAY 1:-

Morning walk at Singapore Botanic Gardens

On my first day, I enjoyed a refreshing morning stroll at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The beautiful park features impeccable lawns, glassy lakes, and colourful themed gardens. The early hours of the morning is the best time to visit as you can behold fresh blooms and breathe in the fresh fragrance infused air.

The Gardens by the Bay is a stunning nature park which also features the world’s largest greenhouse. The most striking feature of Gardens by the Bay are the Supertrees which uses solar energy to light up in the night.

Partied at Zouk

I wanted to party away my last night in Singapore. I headed to Zouk, which is the hub of nightlife in Singapore. I enjoyed dancing to the tunes of renowned DJs and downed some delicious drinks. The strobe-lit dance floor at Zouk is the perfect place to dance the night away.

All this was possible only because I took up a 2 day Singapore tour package. It was inclusive of the accommodation and transfers, hence I did not have to worry about anything. So, if you happen to have a long layover, make sure to take up a tour package and enjoy a hassle-free stay in Singapore.
