Heart of the Jeddah

I was having hesitation to visit Saudi Arabia considering the news spread about this Middle East country. My friend’s constant persuasion at last made me visit this beautiful country which is wrapped in tradition. I cannot thank my friend enough though!

It was my first holiday trip to Saudi Arabia with my bunch of friends, where we landed in King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Friday evening. We were not surprised with hot climate conditions as we already knew the average temperature of the city. Then we arrived at our hotel, the Le Meridien Jeddah Hotel, which is 14.1 kilometers via Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Rd/Route 271.

Le Meridien Jeddah Hotel

We were relaxed for an hour after reaching Le Meridien Jeddah Hotel. This is one of the best hotel with free Wi-Fi, luxury suits, outdoor terrace, restaurants, a fitness center and pools. Jeddah is one of the most beautiful cities in Saudi Arabia, located n the Hijaz Tihamah region on the coast of the Red Sea. It is home for more than 3.5 million inhabitants and it is considered as second largest city in the country after Riyadh. The historical city welcomes over 14 million pilgrims’ every year on the way to Mecca.

Al Masjid al Nabawi: It was time to visit most prominent symbols of the Islamic Religion of Saudi, situated in Madina. It is one of the leading holiest mosques in the world, which was built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad. If you want to experience the real Islamic country, Saudi Arabia is a perfect city that invites everyone to explore the rich history and its culture.

Al-Ula: Located just 110 kilometers from southwest of Tayma (380 km north of Medina) in Saudi Arabia. It was an amazing experience to visit Al-Ula for once in a lifetime.

Delicious Arabian Dishes

It was a bit excitement for me to taste mouth-watering Arabian dishes like Shawarma and Falafel, Mtaziz, Kabsa, Quran and Motabbaq. Don’t forget to taste delicious local traditional dish Al-Kabsa, which is national dish of the Saudi Arabia.

Don’t miss to visit the highest point of the beautiful sand dunes and thrilling camel ride in desert safari. It will be a lifetime experience to make a ride in exclusive 4x4 vehicles with stunning activities and followed by dinner in the desert.

Discover this beautiful gem of Middle East & I am sure you won’t regret it. However, planning the Saudi Arabia trip is essential. You can have a detailed Saudi itinerary before you arrive.
