Coonoor is a small town next to Ooty. It is more peaceful and less commercialized than Ooty. In this trip we explored Lamb's Rock and Dolphin's Nose. On the way back we also visited Shooting Medu in Ooty which is a huge grassland and directors' favorite place to shoot songs during 80's and 90's.

Lambs rock in Coonoor has three points to visit. First one is elephant rock, where the rock literally looks like elephants head. Second one is sleeping lady, where the mountain range looks like a sleeping lady and third one being suicide point which

Dolphins nose is another view point in Coonoor. From looks like a dolphins nose from the areal view. You will get Amazing 360 degree view of valley and Catherine falls. This is the place where one part of Pehla Nasha song was shot.

This is one of the guesthouse where we stayed. It's within tea estate and there is no cell phone network. The only thing you can do it to enjoy the nature. There are four rooms and they take booking for up to 12 guests. Service is not really up to the mark as only one person will be doing all the tasks.

Look at the background. This is a restricted jungle in Ooty. Only localities are allowed to go there. Due to high animal activities government has decided to keep it off the tourism. I was lucky enough to know someone from Ooty
