Turtuk in Ladakh - A village administered by Pakistan and now part of India

The beautiful Turtuk village of Ladakh of Ladakh was initially part of Baltistan in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir near the Karakoram mountains, just south of K2 (the world’s second-highest mountain). Indian army gained control on this beautiful village in 1971 war. From, 2010 onward, Turtuk was open to tourism. The village lived under Pakistan administered Kashmir and now a part of India.

It looks like a place from fairy tale, such beauty and peacefulness and warmth of people
