February Air - Sattal, Uttarakhand

Tripoto

Sattal or Sat Tal is an interconnected group of seven freshwater lakes situated in the Lower Himalayan Range near Bhimtal, a town of the Nainital district in Uttarakhand, India.

I travelled to Sattal in February, 2016 as a part of my college trip. The trip began with around 50 people boarding a train from Delhi to Kathgodam, then taking cabs to reach Sattal. We stayed at the Getaway Jungle camp. The camp was extremely well made and would fulfill all needs (including food and other necessary items). We played a little bit of football, photographed some birds, relaxed, enjoyed music next to a bonfire, sat under the stars, and basically had a lot of fun. I took small clips of the experience and made a video. The entire 2 days we spent in the midst of nature were calm, peaceful, and exactly what I was looking for from a college trip experience.
