A writer named Angie Weiland-Crosby once quoted, "Nature is the purest port to the inner peace". Well, the beauty and simplicity of these mountains justify this quote perfectly.

No matter how well somebody is explaining the beauty of this trek or clicking high definition pictures of it, it's too difficult to do justice with the beauty of this valley in words and pictures.

Anyway, after having a little break in Lwiti Bugyal, we moved ahead toward Rudranath temple which was still 14-16 KM far from there (please refer to the first part of the blog if you haven't). Although it was the summer season luckily there were clouds everywhere on the way and slight rain sometimes which were making our journey more enjoyable.

The distance of those 2 kilometers from Lwiti Bugyal to Panar Bugyal hardly took 40 minutes for us. Panar Bugyal is almost halfway stop for the Rudranath temple which is somewhere around a 10-12 km trek from the Sagar village from where we started trekking. This place is a complete treat to the eyes to see a mesmerizing view. One cannot stop enjoying the view of Panar Bugyal for few moments.

Panar Bugyal, Rudranath Trek

It took us around 5 and a half hours to reach Panar Bugyal. Also, we left the jungle path behind us. We decided to have our lunch 200 meters ahead of Panar Bugyal. We had our homemade food packed for lunch as well. Have no idea whether it was the tiredness of this trek or the hunger, it made our homemade food (roti, sabzi, achaar) delicious.

After having lunch and taking the rest for 15-20 minutes, we started going ahead towards the temple which was still quite far But the beauty of nature on the way made it a little bit easy for us. Our next stop to take a break was at Pitradhar which was around 6-7 km far from Panar Bugyal and also from where the trek towards Rudranath temple was downwards which was going to be pretty easy and relief for us.

Pitradhar (पित्रधार)

Pitradhar is the place where people remember and pay their respect to their ancestors during to journey. The path from Pitradhar to Rudranath temple is totally downwards which doesn't take too much time to cover the path of 6-8 km.

Pleasant environment, soothing weather and those clouds walking with us were giving us joy and more excitement by each passing step in last 6-7 km towards the temple. It's pretty smooth and easy path towards the temple from Pitradhar.

Rudranath Temple

The view of the temple just before 500 meters took all the tiredness away. There were inner peace and a kind of relief in that air.

Every journey in the mountains gives you a different experience. Every mountain or a trek has a separate story to tell. Every trek gives you the pleasure to look at beautiful places. I've been to different places, treks, villages in Uttarakhand; but this place will always have a small place in my heart. Surely I'm going to be there again soon. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Thanks.

Clean environment, Clean Mountains, Healthy us:

A clean environment is a sign of a healthy environment. It is never too late to take an initiative for a good cause. And with this thought we while coming back from the Rudranath Temple on the next day, we decided to collect litter and garbage from the valley.

Clean Uttarakhand, Clean India; Healthy us..

Your clean surrounding fills positive vibes in you and keeps you healthy. I would like to request to everyone the same thing we requested all the people we met on the trek; Do not spread any garbage and keep this valley clean. If you cannot clean it, at least do not spread the negativity with the litter and plastic.

Thanks
