Mousuni, a tiny Island near Sundarban mangrove Forest, South 24 Pargonas District in West Bengal,India. Its also called The Virgin Island of West Bengal. The island is Located in between Sagar Island (WEST), Jambu Dweep (South) and Bakkhali (East). Currently its become one of the most popular weekend destinations for adventure lover.
:: How to reach Mousuni Island ::
-- Reach Namkhana by bus or train.
-- From Namkhana Railway Station, take a motorized van / toto to reach the Jetty. (10 minutes ride)
-- Cross the Hatania Doania river by boat (5 minutes ride).
-- Take Magic van or book a TOTO and reach Bagdanga kheya ghat (45 mins ride) or Durgapur Kheya Ghat (30 mins ride).
-- Cross the river and reach Bagdanga by boat (10 mins ride from Bagdanga kheya ghat or 30 mins ride from Durgapur kheya ghat )
-- From Bagdanga take a motorized van / toto to reach the Backpacker's Camp (15 - 20 mins ride).
