First of all I never been there in Turkey. But other places I keep traveling. Keep in mind touring has got major two things. One to stay and another sightseeing/activities. So, stay at such a place so that you will not waste time and money in travelling everyday to the sightseeing spots. Now a day we got Google map to use. Also I would suggest to stay on " Airbnb" and sightseeing through " Viator". (I do the same)
