Vietnam is amazing, very cheap with great spas, however sometimes it rains heavily during few days of August. I;ve never been to Japan and south Korea but I think there are countries that you will only enjoy if you like their culture.

Hi Apurva, Japan and South Korea offers a different kind of expereince, while Vietnam offeres a totally different kind of experience. if you have to choose between South Korea and Japan, i would suggest you to go for Japan, as there are different regions offering different experiences, You can enjoy city life in Tokyo and its totally different in Osaka, while Kyoto and Nara offers a cultural experience. You should go to Vietnam only if you are an adventurous person, love exploring wildlife and jungles. Keep the fact in mind that Vietnam experiences a lot of rain in month of August and September.

I have never been to Vietnam, but I spent two years in Japan and six years in South Korea. When considering where I would most like to visit, I would choose Japan. The culture, food, and tourist destinations there appeal to me more. While I enjoyed aspects of living in South Korea, like their public transportation and shopping, the food is often too spicy for my tastes. I found getting around Seoul using public transit easier than in Japan. However, the Japanese culture and cuisine are what draw me to visit that country over the others.

Due to its pleasant weather, Vietnam is usually the best option among South Korea, Japan, and Vietnam for August and September travel. These are the months when Vietnam has its dry season, which is perfect for touring and outdoor activities due to the low humidity and little rainfall. Vietnam's busiest travel months, August and September, also provide an abundance of exciting cultural festivals and activities. Vietnam would therefore be your best option if you're seeking for a place to go in August or September that has nice weather and exciting activities.
