Goa will be beautiful at that time but it won't be your typical Goa experience that you'd get during the non monsoon months. Everything is super green that time. But you may not be able to plan your beach time in advance. Monsoons in the west can be tricky. The rains sometimes continue for days, and it doesn't drizzle, it pours. So, I prefer to book a place that's a nice property that I'd enjoy even if I get stuck indoors because of the weather - many amenities etc, and be ready for impromptu plans. The best part is streets would be empty because hardly any tourists flock to Goa during that time.
