Hello anyone been to ooty from Bangalore via road? Could anyone share first hand experience about the roads? We are group of 8 people planning a trip in December. Any recommendations for stay also welcome.

Roads are awesome. Try to leave early from Bangalore to avoid traffic . Reach Bandipur forest after 6 am, before that the checkpost doesnt open.
