Hello. Undoubtedly, Kedarkanth trek is one of the best winter trekking of India. It is moderate to steep and heavy snow fall can also make it a little bit difficult. But as a reward you be will be able to see some breathtaking Himalayan views. Some tips according to my experience are: 1. You should not be obese, Your BMI really matter, especially at high altitude. You can practice at home by walking 4-5 km daily before your trek begin. 2. Boost your stamina, by eating health food stuff. 3. You will going to face extreme skin dryness so don't forget to carry a cold cream and sun screen too, as sun rays quite sharp at high altitude. 3. Carry some candies and dry fruits with you. protein bar, chocolates are also good to reduce fatigue and weakness. 4. remain in group if possible. 5.Keep backpack light as much as possible, you should carry a light rain coat, your gadgets like mobile chargers, earphones, extra mobile, torch and shawl (it will protect you in harsh weather) . 6. Drinking water usually safe at high altitude, but you can carry your own bottle, don't drink too much water. 7. Follow and prefer footprints for safe trek, A stick is recommended to ease trekking, it will also protect against wild animals sometime.

Hi, Kedarkantha trek is moderate in difficulty during winter. The temperature can get as low as -7 degrees so be sure to take lots of warm clothing, gloves, socks and a balaclava. Invest in a high-quality backpack too. Make sure to wear sturdy and comfortable shoes as well! Also, carry a trekking pole to help you with the climb. Do not forget to take some important medicines too. Other than that, refer to the myriad Tripoto articles on trekking essentials and travellers' own experiences of Kedarkantha trek to get a better idea. Attaching a few below! Have a great trek!
