Entire Maharashtra is safe and amazing during monsoons. if you're a beach lover you can go to anjarle or sindudurg. Amazing white sand beaches with either no or little crowd.

Since it's your first solo trip Rajasthan would be a nice place to start with - Jaipur, Udaipur, jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Chittorgarh, pushkar depending on your time and days of travel

Well you can prefer to visit sula wineyard which is located in Nashik. Also you can plan to visit Lonavala too. Rainy season is the best time for such visits.
