Gokarna is worth visit. Beautiful beaches. You can also include nearby places in your iteniary like Murudeshwar (80km). Scuba diving also can be done at Murudeshwar. Do visit the Gokarna Mahabaleshwar temple. March would be off season due to exam times. So accomodation rates will be low. Only thing it will be hot. So carry hats, sunscreen, sunglasses etc

There are many homestay and hotels nearby temple and bus stand.

i see there are very limited hostels and zostel being fully occupied. I am planning to go with Rambler stay .
My suggestion would be to trek one way to reach all the three beaches from Kudle. While returning its better to take a boat ride back to Kudle. If lucky, you can see dolphins mid way

It would be hot...Do carry all the necessities like sunscreen, hats, summer clothes etc. You can go for solo trip. It's worth to go..

Yes you can certainly visit. we went in june and it was scorching. still the evening breezes will sooth you! dont worry much, pack your bags and off you go!
