Hi, To make an ideal itinerary of Kerala, you may cover the prominent places in approx 6N/07D: Reach and start your journey from Kochi (has good connectivity for flights and trains), 02N: Munnar
Make sure en route you visit the waterfalls (Bahubali movie also shot at one of the waterfalls) and also please remember to start your journey from Kochi early as it is a hilly area and will require at least 5 Hrs. to reach your hotel in Munnar *Go for a couple photoshoot and candle light dinner 01N: Thekkady
Visit Periyar Lake, feed the elephants and mostly forest area, so keep in mind to book a good hotel to avoid mosquitoes 01N: Alleppey Backwater area, Stay in Houseboat & make sure you choose the deluxe one as the difference in cost would not be much more 02N: Kovalam Make a day tour to Kanyakumari and watch the beautiful sunset, please note the distance from Trivandrum/Kovalam to Kanyakumari is only 98 KMs so day trip is possible, stay in a beach hotel and enjoy the beaches of Kovalam and also explore Trivandrum by visiting Padmanabha Swami Temple and Catch your return Flight/Train from Trivandrum as connectivity is good from there.
